My mom had cancer. I built something to help her. This is what came out of it.

Aanya Mansani is a 14-year-old rising 10th grader at Centennial High School in Frisco. Earlier this month, she won a Gold Medal at the 2026 GENIUS Olympiad, one of the world's largest international high school innovation competitions, held in Rochester, New York, with students representing 79 countries and 37 U.S. states. But the story didn't begin with a competition—it began with a friend. Last year, one of her close friends fainted at school. People rushed to help, but no one knew her allergies, medications, or even who to contact. Those first few minutes were filled with confusion and uncertainty, and she realized how difficult it can be to access critical medical information during an emergency.
