“Our residents and visitors had so much fun discovering all the great things Frisco has to offer, we brought the Treasure Hunt back for a second summer,” said Mayor Maher Maso. “In just a year’s time, we’ve already added some spots on the map. This is a great opportunity to introduce residents and visitors to the newest member of our Frisco family, the Texas Legends, our NBA D-League team,” added Maso. “We also want to make sure folks remember what a great resource we have in our Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau.”
“Many of the venues on the ‘map’ were made possible either through our innovative public-private partnerships or through the support of our voters, who approved bonds to build ‘state of the art’ facilities. Those same residents also support our Public Art Program, which is why we also wanted to showcase three samples of the incredible art collection displayed throughout our community,” said Maso. “Last year, we discovered many residents who participated in the ‘hunt’ weren’t aware of some of the great entertainment opportunities we have right here at home. Simply put, the Treasure Hunt is a great way to encourage our residents to explore their home town – or introduce visitors to all the fun, family oriented venues our community offers,” added Maso.
